What is a "Beyul" anyway?
Outer Beyul
The term comes from the ancient Tibetan Buddhist tradition. Beyuls were originally described as hidden valleys that are blessed as refuges in times of extreme turmoil in the world. These valleys are extremely difficult to find and are said to be reached only with enormous hardship. However when reached by the pilgrim often they lead to extraordinary experiences of awakening.
The “Beyul Club and Resorts” is designed to create a similar experience for members and guests, but, hopefully, without the "enormous hardship." The Beyul Resorts will be beautiful, secluded places where it feels as if "heaven has descended to Earth." These will be places where we can learn, laugh and experience together.
